Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before booking services with Desiree Cassanelli. By booking or attending any session, workshop or event you agree to be bound by these terms.

Services

Offerings include 1:1 coaching (online or in person), Soul‑Plan readings (online or in person), Embodied‑Release massage (in person only), and group events/workshops.
Session formats, duration and fees are as advertised on the website or agreed in writing.

Booking & Payment

Bookings are confirmed once payment is received in full, or where a deposit has been agreed and paid.
Payment methods accepted will be listed at time of booking. Prices shown are in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
For multi‑session packages, payment terms will be provided at booking.

Cancellation & Refunds

Client cancellations: full refund for cancellations made at least 48 hours before scheduled appointments (individual sessions). Cancellations within 48 hours are non‑refundable; where possible one reschedule may be offered subject to availability.
Group events/workshops: full refund for cancellations made at least 7 days prior. Cancellations between 48 hours and 7 days may be offered credit toward a future event (or a partial refund at the practitioner’s discretion). No refunds within 48 hours of the event; transfers to another participant may be permitted.
Practitioner cancellations: if I cancel, you will be offered an alternative time or a full refund.
Refunds will be returned to the original payment method within 7–10 business days of confirmation.

Rescheduling & No‑Shows

Rescheduling is permitted once without fee if requested at least 48 hours in advance for individual sessions. Subsequent reschedules or late requests may incur a fee.
Late arrivals reduce session time accordingly; full fees apply. No‑shows are non‑refundable.

Health, Safety & Contraindications

Clients must disclose any medical conditions, mental‑health diagnoses, medications, pregnancy, recent surgeries or injuries, or other relevant health information prior to booking, especially for massage or somatic work.
For massage, please note standard contraindications (e.g. fever, infectious conditions, certain cardiovascular or skin conditions); I may decline or modify treatment for safety. If unsure, seek medical advice before booking.
By booking you confirm you are fit to participate, or have sought appropriate medical advice.

Confidentiality & Safety

All personal information shared in coaching and readings is treated confidentially and will not be disclosed except where required by law (for example, safeguarding concerns, risk of harm to self or others, or court order).
Coaching and somatic work are not a substitute for medical or psychiatric treatment. If you are under the care of a medical professional, please inform me and continue with prescribed care.

Recordings, Materials & Intellectual Property

Soul‑Plan readings are recorded with client permission; recordings and any provided PDFs are for the client’s personal use only.
All materials, notes, recordings and written content supplied remain the intellectual property of Desiree Cassanelli unless otherwise agreed in writing. Clients may not reproduce, publish or distribute materials without permission.

Professional Boundaries & Conduct

Professional boundaries will be maintained at all times. Physical contact in massage is only provided with informed consent and may be withdrawn at any time.
I reserve the right to end a session if behaviour is aggressive, abusive or otherwise unsafe.

Limits of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, liability for losses arising from services provided is limited to the fee paid for the particular service. I am not liable for indirect, consequential or unforeseeable losses.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Data Protection & Privacy

Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy. By booking you consent to the collection and use of information for the purposes of providing services, administration and legal compliance. Recordings and files are stored securely and shared via Dropbox or similar with your consent.

Complaints & Dispute Resolution

If you wish to raise a concern, please email desireecassanelli.com with details. I will acknowledge receipt and aim to resolve matters promptly and fairly.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will first be referred to mediation before legal action is considered.

Changes to Terms

I may update these Terms & Conditions; clients who have booked will be notified of material changes. Continued use of services after changes constitute acceptance.
